Further Reading

My stories only brush the surface of history, but they are as true as I can possibly make them to the time and place. The only concession I conciously make is to use speech that is more understandable to the modern reader. Any other mistakes are, regrettably, my own.

On this page you will find some of the books that have inspired me, and others that have supplied me with a vast amount of information, and all of these have their place on my bookshelves. These would be my recommendations, but there are many books out there that are just as good, and all with their valid takes on the subject matter. The important thing, though, is to enjoy the research - you never know what you are going to find!
